Where to find us?
Our office is conveniently located on Houston’s North Loop, between Garden Oaks, Greater Heights and Oak Forest. We are only about a 10-15 minutes’ drive from downtown, Spring Branch, or from the Galleria area. We are on the north side of the loop in a business complex of several buildings tucked away in a wooded area called The Preserve.
Who We Are
Brief, solution-focused counseling can provide quick relief, but the patterns that led to the distress tend to remain intact until they are acknowledged and processed at a deeper level. Lasting changes come from learning and understanding the depths of one’s own psyche. With this in mind, we founded Greater Heights Behavioral Health.
Compassionate
Our mission – to help clients achieve their goals, rediscover themselves, and learn to live well. We provide the setting and support to help others develop and grow, overcome obstacles, and live fearlessly.
Trustworthy
Greater Heights Behavioral Health focuses on maintaining a therapeutic environment that is safe and secure, creating a space where unfiltered thoughts are allowed and encouraged.
Experts
You do not have to do this alone. Lean on the expert knowledge and depth of experience of Greater Heights Behavioral Health – and begin the journey of health
and rediscovery.

FAQ's
Many of us deal with life’s hardships alone, and we are not always sure when we should ask for help.
Here are a few examples of symptoms that can be treated through psychotherapy:
- Anger or irritability
- Persistent depressed mood or sadness
- Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
- Fearfulness or worry
- Difficulty with sleep

Psychotherapy is the process of evaluating and treating the sources of emotional distress that may be keeping you from developing and enjoying your life. As you meet with your psychotherapist, you will experience the healing power of understanding and connection. You will learn how to cope with stress, find your voice, and discover the conscious and unconscious processes that influence your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Psychotherapy is the first line of treatment for most mental health issues, and it has been shown to be very effective for symptom reduction (Shedler, 2007; Cuijpers et al, 2013). In some cases, symptoms may require medication, in which case decisions about medication can be discussed with your therapist and your prescribing physician.
Our multidisciplinary, experienced specialists treat a wide range of presenting concerns, such as:
- Anger resolution
- Stress management
- Anxiety
- Bipolar Disorder
- Eating Disorders
- Chronic Pain
- Coping with medical problems
- Psychosis (i.e. schizophrenia)
- Major life events
- Depression and grief
- Addiction
- Relationship issues
- Academic or work difficulties
